Book Review

Book: "Jorney to the River Sea"

Author: Eva Ibbotsom

Number of pages:

Rating: 9/10

Summary: It is about a girl called Mia whose parents die and leave her a lot of money. She tries to find a relative to live with and finds out that she has an uncle wjo lives in the Amazon. She is very excited and decides to go live with him and his family. However when she gets there she is very disappointed because the family hate the outdoors and are very British. Then she begins her adventure and a lovely frindship forms before her eyes.

Front Cover: The front cover is brown and looks like a naturalist diary with three exotic butterflies on it.

My Thoughts: I thought that this book was brilliant but it lacked a bit of girlie fun. The character i liked best was Mia because she is lively, fun and she put up with all the horrid things that the Carter twins did to her. While i was reading this book i felt excited and nervous about what was going to happe to Mia. I would definitely reccomend this book to others because it is full of adventure and i felt really into the book after reading two chapters.
