Summary : Lauren is a 14 year old girl who lives with her adoptive parents the Matthews in England.When Lauren recieves an essay for english homework under the heading 'Who Am I?' She starts to unravel the truth about her past.She discovers that she was snatched by a women called Sonia as a baby from her real parents in America and has been missing fo the past 7 years.She was then sold onto the Matthews by Sonia. Lauren is shocked and is determined to find her real parents and so she runs away with har best friend Jam. Their journey takes them into more and more danger and she soon realises that the people who abducted her will do anything to keep her quite. After two near death experiences Lauren finaly find her real parents and feels she has to stay with them. The police are informed and they soon find out about Laurens 'adoption'. Sonia is sent to jail and the Matthews and her parents decide it is best for Lauren to stay with her parents for school term and her real parents for holidays.

Summary:

Romeo and Juliet is a play about a pair of starcrossed lovers who take their lives for love.R & J come from two families {The Montagues and The Capulets}whom have been involved in an old fued.R & J first met when Romeo attends a Capulet party which he shouldn't be at but is only there to see the "love of his life" Rosiline.Romeo sees J from afar and is immediately taking in by her beauty.He asks her to dance and they soon fall in love.Before they know it the party is over and as they didn't catch eachothers names they ask Nurse{juliets nurse} to find out.They are both heartbroken when they find out they should be enemys not lovers.After the party Romeo sneeks to the Capulet house where he talks to juliet from her room and they both declare there love for one and other,The next step is marriage.On their wedding day , after they have got married in secret by Friar Laurence Romeos friend , Romeo is banished from Verona for the death of Tybalt. This is awful as Tybalt is Juliets cousin and also because the prince said that if the two families are caught fighting they will be killed.Romeo runs in terror too Friar Laurence's cell. When the Prince finds out he banishes Romeo and says if he is found in Verona he will be killed. When R finds out he is devastated as he thinks there is no world outside the walls of Verona if Juliet is there.J is also devastated because of the news. Friar Laurence tells R to go too Mantua until things die down.Before R does this he spends his last night with J as it is their wedding night.R then leaves for Mantua. While he is away Lord Capulet arranges that J marries a man called Paris.J runs to Friar for help and tells him she would rathert die then marry him. Friar gives J a slepping drink that will make her appear to be dead for 48 hours. He tells her to take it on Wednesday night{the night before the wedding}Friar intends to tell R by letter so when she wakes up in the tomb R will be there to bring her to Mantua. He also tells her to go home and pretend to be happy about the marriage. She does as she is told and tells her dad she will marry Paris. Her dad is over the moon and desides to bring the wedding forward a day. This totaly interfears with the plan bu J still takes the drink.The next morning J is found " dead" by Nurse in her room.They have a funeral and she is placed in the tomb.The letter fails to get to Romeo but the news doesnt and he is told that J is dead by his friend.Romeo goes to Verona and breaks into the tomb where he is met by Paris comming to spread flowers on J . They fight and Paris is killed. Paris's servent runs to get help. R sees J dead and gets in beside her in the tomb and kills him self with a bottel of poisin he bought in Mantua.Friar Laurence walks in just as J is waking She sees romeo and so does Friar .He tells her to go with him but she refuses and a noise of people comming scares Friar off J then takes R's knife and kills her self .Soon the public arive and Friar is found he spills everything about R & J . In the end the death of the two families kids is the only thing that stops their feud

Summary: This book is about a girl called Tori.She goes to school with her best friends Georgie,Megan and Hannah or the Crazy Maisies.Tori and her family are not very well off unlike her best friends who all get lots of pocket money , live in big houses and wear expensive clothes. The Crazy Maisies always go on outings like the cinema or for dinner but Tori never joins in as she can't afford it and thinks if she tells her loaded friends that they will drop her so Tori is always making excuses. When her whole year is told about their trip to Venice all  the Crazy Maisies except Tori get very excited. Days pass and still everyone is talking about it.Tori does not even bother to get excited about it as she nos theres no way she can afford it. One day her luck stars to change when she becomes a Zodic Girl.She doesn't know what it meens and presumes it a load of rubbish. When tori is going to a charity ball and she has nothing to wear because she doesn't have any branded dresses Tori gets a bus into town to see what she could get for cheep.She can't find anything and just decides to check her emails and a message comes up that she is this months Zodiac girl. She is freaked out and leaves the cafe.As she is walking down the street she looks in at the charity shop and spots a dress. She goes in and sees a label that says Suzie Tsang she cant believe it . She buys the dress and heads home. Later that night While wearing her dress Sonia her worst enemy starts to call her a nickynonames . Her best friend stands up for her telling her how she was wearing a Suzie Tsang. Sonia the tells Georgie how Suzie Tsang was her aunt and that she had made a special dress for her and how it was the dress Tori was wearing . Tori runs away crying and Georgie follows her. Tori confesses everything and in the end the Crazy Maisies don't care if she isn't loaded they just like her for her!

I realy enjoyed making this website for our english class because no other english class are doing it, it got me into  reading  more and I found it mucch quicker then writing out the reports!

One of my favourite things about the website was that we all had our own blog that we could colour in any colour we wanted, write on it and send our friends comments

I realy liked this project and would defintly like to do it next year!

If i was stranded on a island the book I would bring with me would be "Chicken Soup For The Teenage Soul" because it is a big book so I would be reading it for a while!And also because its lots of true storys about not giving up hope, freindship and lots of other things.I think it would encourge me to not give up if I ever got stranded on a deserted island!
