Summery:This book is about black and white people in America.The black people are treated very badly for example black children have to walk to school and white children have a bus.This book is based on a black family ( The Logan Family ) There is Mama, Papa, Big Ma, Uncle Hammer, and the children Stacey, Little Man, Cassie and Christopher John.Mama is a teacher at the children's school but loses her job.T.J. Avery are the children's friend but when T.J. leaves them to play with white boys Stacey gets worried.

This book is called Double Act.

The front cover is split in half.1 half has yellow stars and a red back round. The other half is the opposite colour.Double Act is written at the top in yellow.

This book is about twins called Ruby and Garnet.When they were young their mother died and now all they have left is their dad so they thought, but after a while he starts going out with a woman called Rose. They girls hate her and will try to do anything they can to make her life hell.

The main characters are Garnet and Ruby.

My favourite characters are Garnet and Ruby because they think of some funny stuff to get rid of Rose.

Saddest part is when their mum dies.

Happiest part is when they start to get on.

I would recommend this book because its a good laugh.

I would bring girls in tears because it is such a good book you wouldnt want to put it down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book is about three girls Ellie, Magda and Nadine.The have been friends forever.Ellie has a boyfriend called Russell but it all goes down hill  (bad) because Magda was caught kissing Russell at a party.Ellie was very upset and didn't go to school for a few days.She felt even more upset when she found out Nadine is on Magdas side.Ellie has a little brother called Eggs, a dad and a stepmum.When Ellies mum was alive she drew pictures of a mouse (Myrtle Mouse) and now Ellie has sent it in for a competition. Will she win ???

The front cover is pink with a blue border!!!Girls In Tears is in blue, yellow and white.Jacqueline Wilson is in white and their are tears at the bottom in blue.

The main theme of this book is friendship, sadness, happiness and love.

The happiest part is when the three girls make up.

The saddest part is when Ellie breaks up with Russell.

The main character is Ellie.

The character i liked best was Ellie because she is always up to something.

While i was reading this novel i felt both feelings of sadness and happiness at different moments.

I would highly recommend this book because it was a brilliant story.

Dustbin baby is a great book but if i was Jacqueline Wilson I  would have called it April Showers because April is always crying.

There are alot more names to give this book for example April fools.

I think Dustbin Baby is a really really good name for it and really suits the story!!!!!!.
