BOOK REPORT

NAME OF BOOK:

  High School Musical Poetry in Motion.

AUTHOR: 

  Alice Alfansi.

COVER: 

  The cover is green and yellow with a little bit of gold.  The title is written in gold.  Chad and Gabriella are on the cover too.

SUMMARY: 

  The story is about every main character in the book.  Chad, Zeke and Jason are nervous about being on stage in front of a professional poet and on front of everyone.  Taylor is having no trouble at all.  Sharpay is out of control.  Poor Kelsi has to work with Sharpay.  Troy works with his guys and Gabriella finds out something she didn't want to know.

MAIN CHARACTERS IN THE STORY: 

   The main characters are Gabriella, Troy, Chad, Zeke, Jason, Sharpay and Taylor.

THE THEMES OF THE BOOK:  

 The themes are love, friendship, sadness anger, nerves and happiness.

THE HAPPIEST PART OF THE NOVEL: 

 is when Troy and Gabriella do not talk and when everyone is getting themselves down.

MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER IN THE STORY: 

  is Sharpay because she couldn't think of nothing except shoes, clothes, handbags that sort of thing and was driving Kelsi crazy.

HOW I FELT READING THIS NOVEL: 

  I felt happy and sad and a bit shocked.  It was a great book and I read it in almost two days.

WOULD I RECOMMENDTHIS BOOK:

  I would definitely recommend this book.  I could read it over and over again and still be shocked.  It is funny, happy, and sad but a great read.  You want it to go on and on!  I would like to write to the author and tell her to write a bigger, longer ending!

NAME OF BOOK: 

   The name of my book is High School Musical, The Stories of East High.

AUTHOR: 

 The author of the book I have chosen is N.B.Grace.

DESCRIPTION OF FRONT COVER: 

  The front cover is red and has the title of the book at the top.  It has a picture of two characters called Troy and Sharpe and it is very noticeable/ stands out.

SUMMARY OF THE BOOK: 

   The book is about students at a school called East High. They are competing in a battle of the bands competition.  There is Sharpay and the Sharpettes, Troy and his basketball buddies and Gabriella.  They are all competing against each other.  There are sad parts like the way Gabriella is left out and a bit ignored, and happy parts like when they all become friends.  It leaves you wanting to know what's going to happen next.

THE MAIN THEMES OF THE BOOK ARE: 

  Friendship and singing.

THE HAPPIEST PART OF THE NOVEL:  

 The happiest part of the novel was when Sharpay lost her voice whoops!  Think I said too much.  Ah well.  But Sharpay was my least favorite character and I was glad that that happened to her.

THE SADDEST PART OF THE NOVEL:  

 The saddest part of the novel was when Gabriella wasn't getting involved in the bands because not even her best friends included her and she felt left out.

THE MAIN CHARACTERS ARE: 

  The main characters in the novel are Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay and Ryan.

THE CHARACTERS I LIKE MOST AND MY REASONS WHY: 

  My favorite character from the novel is Ryan even though Sharpay his sister is competing in the competition he still helped Sharpay's enemies because he Wanted to help them and because Ryan was a kind person and he ended up being friends with all of them.

WHILE I WAS READING THE NOVEL I FELT:  

 While I was reading this novel I felt sorry for Gabriella because she was left out.  I felt happy when things went wrong for Sharpay.  I felt the book was enjoyable to read.

WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO OTHERS AND WHY: 

  Yes I would recommend this book to others because it was funny, enjoyable, and sad.  Sometimes you wished it would go on and on.  It was interesting, plus it left you wanting to know what happens next.

RATINGS OUT OF TEN:  

  I would give this book a rating of 10/10.  It was a pleasure to read.   Really good!

BOOK REPORT

The name of the book is High School Musical: Wildcat Spirit

AUTHOR:

The author is: Catherine Hapka

COVER:

The cover of the book has Troy and Gabriella on the front with a blue, white and silver back round. It has High School Musical written on the top in gold writing and the title of the book "Wildcat Spirit" is written in silver writing on the bottom.

SUMMARY:

High School Musical: Wildcat Spirit is about Spirit week at East High. Every student is really excited about it. During Spirit week there is dress up days such as Pyjama day and twin day and a pep rally. At the end of the week there is a dance, but it‘s a "Sadie Hawkins" dance, which means the girls have to ask the boys and a couple will be announced spirit king and queen. However Gabriella is excited but she hears a conversation she didn't want to hear!  She might be moving!!!!  This distracts Gabriella for the whole week.   Gabriella wants to ask Troy but she is too distracted but its too late Sharpay gets a hold of Troy first! It's all good in the end, Gabriella and Troy get their dance together and Sharpay storms off in a huff, she didn't get to be spirit queen! HA!

MAIN CHARACTERS:   

The main characters in the book are Gabriella,Troy, Sharpay and Ryan.

FAVOURITE CHARACTER:

My favorite character is Sharpay. She really wants to go the dance with Troy so she does everything in her power to get him and be spirit queen at the same time!

HAPPIEST PART:

The happiest part was when Troy and Gabriella finally get to dance together. They were so happy with no one like Sharpay to try and separate them and when it turns out Gabriella really isn't moving!

SADDEST PART:

The saddest part was when Gabriella overheard a conversation about her having to move house to New York!

THEMES:

The themes of the book are love, sadness, friends, school and happiness.

WHEN I WAS READING THIS BOOK I FELT:

I felt sad for Gabriella when she overheard the conversation about her moving and also for Troy because Gabriella wasn't asking him to the dance.  I was happy at the end when everything worked out for them and everyone else except Sharpay.  She got what was coming to her.

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK:

I would recommend this book.  It was a very enjoyable read wondering what was going to happen each page you read.
